Maintenance:

In contaminated conditions, it is essential to thoroughly clean the housing before any work is performed. Regular relubrication is recommended, particularly for applications exposed to dust or moisture. The operating temperature must not exceed 120 °C continuously in order to preserve the polyamide cage. Visual inspection is facilitated by the absence of seals.

Sealing:
This bearing has an open design with no built-in seals. This means it is not protected against the ingress of dust, moisture, or solid particles. On the other hand, this design allows for quick inspection and simplified relubrication. It is therefore important to maintain a clean environment during maintenance. The presence of the annular groove and lubrication holes helps limit the accumulation of contaminants during operation, but does not replace active sealing. This type of model is therefore better suited for controlled environments or those with minimal exposure to external agents.
